Christmas
CHERRIES
We offer a very large crop of the very dark Stella variety, plus the pink a, sweet and crisp Rainier, which I always consider our best fruit. Rain has impacted on keeping quality so for Christmas day I suggest picking on Friday or Saturday.
Tayberries, SILVANBERRIES, and OTHERS
We have a huge crop of most berries, but again for use fresh on Christmas Day suggest you pick Friday or Saturday. Of course you could pick now and surprise your friends with a jar of jam you have freshly made. A jam made from a mix of loganberries and silvanberries is hard to beat. As well we have a special price for jam makers. Our normal price of berries and cherries is $10.00 per kg PYO, but pick 3 kg and get the bonus price of $7.50 per kg PYO.
It is now a good time to consider summer puddings. As well as the softer berries, and strawberries we have a few red currants and the first of the Jostaberries (a cross between a gooseberry and a blackcurrant) and these add that special zing to summer pudding.

The crop is moderate, but the fruit are large and sweet. Our price $10.00 per kg PYO.

- November to February - 8.30am until 5.00pm
- March to May - 10.00am to 4.00pm
- June to September - closed for Winter
- Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Good Friday
